Maple Sugaring

We do it the old-fashioned way: Tapping the trees with buckets, collecting the sap, bringing it back to the 'Sugar Shack' to be boiled down... and then tending the fire as it boils down, every 40 gallons of sap yielding just 1 gallon of pure maple syrup.
We're selling our maple syrup for $10/pint, $18/quart. Drop us a line if you'd like to order some.
And it's a a great workout!

Come by on any day when the sap is running, and see how it's done. Sap runs generally around the month of March, when the temperatures get above freezing during the day, and below freezing at night.
