We got rave reviews about the chicken meat from our previous harvests. They weighed about 7.5 lbs each (after plucking and cleaning).
We will be getting new meat chickens in the next few weeks (as of April 8, 2010).

Place your orders now for meat chickens! Let us know how many you want. Pickup at Bardo Farm. We can also make other arrangements for pickup (e.g., we go to Hanover and Manchester pretty regularly).

We built an outdoor pen for them so they can be pasture fed. We move the pen daily so they always
have new turf.
They also get a balance of natural grain
in their diet.
