About Us
What's "Bardo"?
Bardo is a Tibetan word that means "between lives". Our ultimate goal is to provide a place where people can shed their existing lives and figure out what they want to do next.
Directions
Bardo Farm is located on 210 acres at 92 Forehand Road, Croydon NH 03773. Google Maps needs the street name to be written as "Fore Hand Road" in order to find us. In any event, here are some directions:
From the Concord/Manchester area:
- Take Exit 13 on I-89 for Grantham/Croydon.
- Go south on Rte 10 for about 4 miles.
- When the speed limit goes down to 35MPH, turn right at the second road, which is Forehand Road. There's a white picket fence and Croydon's 1-room school house at that street.
- Go up Forehand about 4/10 of a mile, and make a right into our driveway. It will be the second driveway you see, and will look like a fork in the road (the first driveway is soon after you've turned onto the road). A tree on the left at the beginning of the driveway displays our address.
- Continue on our driveway about 1/4 mile until you see our house, all the way to the end.
From the Keene area:
- Get yourself to Rte 10 North and take it into Newport.
- The next town north is Croydon, about 7 miles north.
- In the village of Croydon, you'll see a gas station on the right, the Town Hall and a church on the left, and then a white picket fence on the left, which goes around Croydon's 1-room schoolhouse.
- At the end of the fence is Forehand Road, onto which you will make a left. It's a dirt road.
